Inclusion happens in the small moments

Most inclusion training works at the level of values, awareness, or policy. All useful. But inclusion lives or dies in the small moments — whose idea gets credited in the meeting, who gets the stretch assignment, who gets remembered when the calendar invite goes out for the team social.

The Right Call: Inclusion & Belonging puts managers inside five of those small moments and shows what happens depending on the choice they make. There’s no “correct” answer screen — each option plays out so managers see how belonging is built or quietly eroded.

The scenarios are drawn from real cases, anonymised. Where the law is relevant (the Equality Act 2010, the public sector equality duty) it’s flagged, but the focus is on the everyday decisions that policy alone cannot reach. One licence covers your whole organisation.

Five scenarios
  • The Invisible Idea
A quieter team member’s idea is repeated by a louder colleague and credited to them — what you do as chair.
  • The Team Social Problem
A team event format that quietly excludes people — and what inclusive planning actually requires.
  • The Quietest Voice
Psychological safety in a fast-moving team meeting — and how to make space without singling people out.
  • The Stretch Assignment
Who gets the high-visibility work — and what your default reveals about opportunity equity.
  • The New Voice
Including remote and new joiners in hybrid teams — the small structural choices that make the difference.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the training take to complete?
Around 10 minutes per learner. Five scenarios with three choices each, plus a short knowledge primer at the start and a key-takeaways screen at the end. Learners can pause and resume; the SCORM package saves state.
Can I deploy this on our LMS?
Yes. The package is supplied as SCORM 1.2, which works in any LMS — TalentLMS, Moodle, Cornerstone, Workday Learning, Bridge and others. You can also host it on your intranet as a standalone HTML file if you don’t use an LMS.
How is this different from your Equality & Diversity module?
Equality & Diversity focuses on the moments where the Equality Act is in play — hiring decisions, harassment, parental leave. This module focuses on the everyday inclusion calls that don’t cross legal lines but determine whether people stay engaged, contribute fully and feel they belong. Both work well together.
Can I customise this for our organisation?
Not out of the box. It’s deliberately industry-neutral so it works across sectors. If you need bespoke versions with your branding, policies or sector-specific situations, get in touch — we offer this as a paid service.
Does it cover hybrid and remote inclusion?
Yes — one of the five scenarios is specifically about including remote and new joiners in hybrid teams. The other scenarios apply equally to in-person, remote and hybrid contexts.
What’s the licensing model?
One-time purchase of £149. Unlimited internal users. No annual renewals, no per-seat fees. The licence covers use within your organisation in perpetuity. If you’re a training provider planning to resell or use it with clients, contact us about a commercial licence.
